What I like most about Nagel-Group is that the size of the company gives you a lot of opportunities for further development. Here, you can also switch to a different path to the one you originally started out on. In my long career at Nagel-Group, I have worked in very different areas and have been allowed to try my hand at different things. Now I have switched to the IT area.
I have come to realise that I enjoy IT very much and have developed in this direction over time. My supervisors always supported and encouraged me. My current activities include administration and support of the hardware and software used in the company. I also supervise the setup and coordination of EDI interfaces with our customers. It is a very wide-ranging and varied work that I enjoy doing. You need a great deal of care and experience to be able to master the broad spectrum of tasks.
For me, one of the most important aspects of the company is the informal atmosphere with colleagues and supervisors alike. My supervisors always have an open ear for me when I am faced with major challenges and find I am not getting anywhere myself. They also always stand by you if you happen to make a mistake.
