Our principles

Ethical central purchasing principles

Nagel-Group attaches great importance to ethical central purchasing principles, which provide the orientation framework for appropriate behavior. The Procurement department does not maintain any business relationships with contractual partners whose conduct on the market and their attitude towards their employees and suppliers do not comply with Nagel-Group’s ethical principles.

Due diligence in the supply chain

The due diligence obligations generally cover the entire supply chain with the aim of preventing and minimizing human rights or environmental risks or ending the violation of human rights or environmental obligations.

Sustainable procurement

While raising the awareness of buyers and purchasers and bundling orders are intended to contribute to a sustainable procurement process in day-to-day operations, strategic measures are also implemented. Nagel-Group suppliers are evaluated in terms of their sustainability performance and sustainability is taken into account as a criterion in tenders in accordance with our sustainability target.
