Change is the only constant

Focusing on change

Carsten Taucke I CEO

As a modern logistics provider, one of our core competences is to react quickly and flexibly to change. For example, our dispatch department controls our fleet in real time, taking into account current traffic conditions. We also adapt our rhythm in packing and order picking to daily fluctuating quantities and volumes. Of course, in a Europe-wide network, not everything always goes according to plan, so we have to be ready to react flexibly and with a goal- and customer-oriented mindset to the most diverse problems.

Change and dynamism are a constant beyond our day-to-day business. The world is changing, shaped by speed and new technologies. These are also driving digitization and automation and are fundamentally and lastingly transforming our everyday life and processes. There is enormous pressure in our industry to change and be flexible, with the willingness and ability to change more of a decisive competitive factor than ever before.

These global developments are also changing the way we will work tomorrow. Our working world is becoming more and more complex and fast-moving, which also increases our complexity and diversity. That is why we are leaving well-trodden paths of thinking and deliberately embarking on new paths ñ as an employer too. We want to think about work in a whole different way and give meaning to the latest catchwords of New Work, Modern Workplace, New Leadership or Agile Organisation without compromising our corporate identity. This path challenges us as a company as well as us as people, but it also opens up a wide range of opportunities. Nevertheless, in everything we do, we will always ask ourselves the question: is it a good fit?
