Open Day at Nagel Hungary

Children experience their parents’ everyday working life at Nagel-Group in Hungary.

The Nagel-Group recently participated in the #showmewheredoyouwork day.

A total of 60 children took part in this eventful day and got the chance to learn about the logistics activities of the Nagel-Group through exciting and playful programmes and tasks. The aim of this day was to give children the opportunity to get to know their mother or father’s workplace.

We are proud that so many employees took up the offer and that we were able to contribute to a family-friendly working environment.

“The children had a great time and were able to get an insight into their parents’ everyday working life. Our colleagues who volunteered to organise and run the programme made a great contribution to the success of the day,” says Szilvia Sagi, HR Manager of the Nagel-Group at the Alsónémedi site.

The children’s enthusiasm was palpable and the feedback speaks for itself:

“I thought it was great to sit on the forklifts and I also enjoyed looking for chocolates. It was funny when they painted my face, and I really enjoyed the balloon fight too.” Levente; 6 years old

“Dad, I’m not going to kindergarten, I’m going with you because now we are colleagues” Áron, 5 years old.

“Mum, that was fun. When I grow up I’m going to work here” Máté, 7 years old.

“Mum, that was really good. When is the next time?” Petra, 11 years old.
