The Nagel-Group sets an example for tolerance, diversity and equal opportunities in the workplace:

Warehouse lit up in rainbow colours for diversity

Versmold/Hamburg. 07 July 2022. A radiantly colourful sign for diversity – that is what the Nagel-Group is currently setting at its largest German branch in Borgholzhausen. On the occasion of Pride Day Germany on 7 July 2022, the Nagel-Group will illuminate a 120-metre-long warehouse façade in rainbow colours from sunset to sunrise. With this, the food logistics company is setting a visible sign for diversity and variety. Around 35 energy-saving LED spotlights are used for the illumination. The electricity used comes exclusively from renewable energies from the company’s own photovoltaic system.

Diversity as the basis of corporate culture

“At the Nagel-Group, people from over 80 nationalities work together towards one goal – to supply Europe with food. Regardless of where they come from, what religion they belong to, what their sexual orientation is or what form of coexistence they choose,” says Carsten Taucke, CEO of the Nagel-Group.  Diversity describes the variety of all people in terms of age, gender, disability, ethnic origin, religion or world view and sexual identity.

“It is important for us to live the principles of tolerance and diversity in the company; they are an integral part of our corporate culture. We also want to show that,” says Carsten Taucke.

This will be done through all channels. Thus, the company logo was coloured in rainbow colours again this year and published on the company website as well as on the social media channels.
