Branch for managers: Nagel-Group opens site in Hamburg’s HafenCity

Hamburg, 9. July 2021. Nagel-Group will soon be opening a new site in Hamburg’s HafenCity. The company has leased some office and meeting space in the Sumatrakontor at Überseeboulevard on a long-term basis.

“Hamburg – the gateway to the world – is one of the most strategic logistics centres in Germany. It is essential for our company to have a physical presence here with an attractive site,” says Marion Nagel, Chair of the Administrative Board of Nagel-Group.

The Hamburg site will provide space for eight offices and two conference rooms, which will be used for international meetings, strategy workshops, and various types of specialist meetings, among other things. “The initial purpose of our branch is to promote networking and raise the effectiveness of our strategic managers. It also serves to boost Nagel-Group’s attractiveness for current and future employees,” says Carsten Taucke, CEO of Nagel-Group.

“Versmold is and will remain our headquarters, the nucleus of the company. Key group-wide services will continue to be provided from here in the future,” says Marion Nagel. Carsten Taucke also stresses: “Hamburg complements the headquarters as a strategic creative hub, represents the company in the heart of the world of logistics and will become the starting point for further developing Nagel-Group.”
