Construction site update from Poznań: New logistics hub taking shape

At our construction site in Poznań, the scale of the new site is becoming increasingly apparent. The supporting structure is in place, the first sections of the building are taking shape, and construction work is progressing according to plan. One of the most important infrastructure projects in our Polish network is thus taking shape step by step.

Once the new site becomes operational, the four existing warehouses in Diamentowa, Kolumba, Robakowo and Wiśniowa will be consolidated into a single central location. This consolidation will open up new operational opportunities and enhance the efficiency of our network in Poland. At the same time, the new site remains in the Poznań region, offering our staff short commutes and a modern workplace.

Modern warehouse and office space for temperature-controlled food logistics is being built across an area of around 46,000 m². Around 42,000 m² is dedicated to warehouse space, supplemented by approximately 4,500 m² of office space. The facility covers all temperature zones. A cross-dock area of around 11,000 m² with 66 loading bays complements the logistics space.

The building design incorporates, amongst other things, heat recovery, modern refrigeration technology and provision for a future photovoltaic system.

There is still a great deal to be done before the planned commissioning in the first half of 2027. Together with our long-standing partner Panattoni, we are overseeing the next stages of construction and look forward to continuing to monitor progress on site.
