B+S celebrates its anniversary – 25 years of passion for logistics
B+S GmbH Logistik und Dienstleistungen, headquartered in Borgholzhausen, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Since its foundation in Beelen in 2001, B+S has established itself as a reliable partner for comprehensive logistics solutions – particularly in the field of multichannel logistics for food and near-food products across Europe.
From the early days to the present
From its humble beginnings with just three employees and 5,000 m² of warehouse space, B+S has continued to grow and develop. Today, the company employs around 1,200 people across 14 sites and manages 500,000 m² of logistics space. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nagel-Group, B+S has been part of the Europe-wide network for temperature-controlled logistics since 2022 and is fully integrated into it. This integration strengthens the company’s market position and allows it to benefit from additional synergies and a high-performance infrastructure.
As a full-service provider, B+S manages the entire supply chain – from warehouse management and storage across various temperature ranges, through to e-commerce fulfilment and value-added services, right up to bespoke transport solutions. The company operates primarily in the food, pet food and healthcare sectors, serving various distribution channels such as marketplaces, brick-and-mortar retail, and B2B and B2C online shops.
Driving change together
This success is underpinned by the synergy between experienced teams, modern infrastructure and a clear strategic direction. The current management team places great emphasis on the consistent development of these structures: In his role as spokesperson for the management board, Clemens von Ketteler focuses on strategic corporate development and sales; Cordula Brockmeyer heads up operations; and Christian Voß is responsible for finance, human resources and administration. Clemens von Ketteler emphasises: “25 years of B+S stand for dynamism, innovative strength and reliable partnerships. Our strong team and full integration into the Europe-wide Nagel Group network enable us to offer flexible logistics solutions to our customers. Our aim is to actively shape the multichannel logistics of tomorrow and set new standards for efficiency, flexibility and customer focus in the European market.”
25 Years of Commitment and Loyalty
To mark its anniversary, B+S is celebrating not only 25 years of success, but also the loyalty and commitment of its staff. Nadine Stahl, Head of Central Payroll, has been with the company for 25 years and is a fine example of the strong sense of community within the workforce. “It’s a special feeling to have been part of the team since the company was founded. I’ve witnessed the company’s development first-hand – with many changes, growth and shared successes. I look forward to continuing to be part of this journey in the future,” says Nadine Stahl. Her long-standing commitment exemplifies the corporate culture at B+S, which is based on trust, appreciation and shared responsibility.
