Nagel-Group consolidates locations in Poland and opens new central logistics hub in Poznań
Poznań, 04 March 2026. The Nagel-Group, one of Europe’s leading food logistics companies, is continuing to expand its activities in Poland, focusing on consolidation, efficiency and sustainable growth. A new, tailor-made logistics property is being built in the greater Poznań area, which is scheduled to commence operations in the first half of 2027. At the same time, four existing branches will be merged into one location.
The new construction project is being realised as part of Panattoni Park Poznań East III. Developer Panattoni is constructing a modern build-to-suit property for the Nagel-Group with a total of around 46,000 m² of warehouse and office space, which will serve as the Nagel-Group’s central operational hub in Poland in the future.
Consolidation boosts operational efficiency
With the new site up and running, the four existing warehouses in Diamentowa, Kolumba, Robakowo and Wiśniowa will be consolidated into one new location. This will create the most important operational hub within the Nagel-Group’s national structure in Poland. At the same time, the new location remains in the same region, which means short distances, continuity and a new, modern workplace for employees in particular.
The new branch in Poznań impresses with its excellent transport links to the A2 and S5 motorways.
“The Nagel-Group BTS project in Poznań represents the next chapter in our long-standing partnership, which has grown steadily alongside our partner’s expanding operations in Poland. Nearly two decades after delivering our first joint projects, we are now developing a central operational hub that will play a pivotal role in Nagel-Group’s operations in Poland,” says Marek Dobrzycki, Partner at Panattoni. “Bringing several locations together into one modern, well-connected facility will significantly enhance operational efficiency and support Nagel-Group’s long-term growth strategy. We are proud that this international leader in food logistics has once again chosen Panattoni to deliver its most important warehouse investment in the country.”

Modern logistics space for all temperature ranges
The property has almost 42,000 m² of warehouse space and around 4,500 m² of office space and covers all temperature-controlled requirements of food logistics – from ultra-fresh (0-2/0-4 °C) to fresh (4-7 °C) and ambient zones (16-18 °C), supported by modern, precise temperature control systems. The facility is complemented by a spacious cross-dock area with around 11,000 m² and 66 loading bays. A total of 300 car parking spaces and 120 truck parking spaces are available.
Focus on sustainability and employee well-being
The project meets the highest sustainability requirements and is certified to the BREEAM standard at the ‘Excellent’ level. Plans include a biological wastewater treatment plant and a heating system based on heat recovery from the cooling system. In addition, the site integrates facilities to promote employee well-being, including a leisure area with a football pitch.
“With the new location in Poznań, we are laying the foundation for further sustainable growth in Poland. The consolidation of four existing branches into a state-of-the-art, optimally connected logistics property increases our efficiency, strengthens our operational performance and at the same time offers attractive working conditions for our employees. Poznań is thus becoming a central component of our national and European network structure,” says André Pleines, Executive Director Real Estate of the Nagel-Group.
Poznań – a strong logistics location
The logistics market in Poznań has been one of the most dynamic in Poland for years. Excellent infrastructure, proximity to major transport routes and access to skilled workers make Greater Poland a strategically important location on the European logistics map.
