Video update Zabrze: Insights into state-of-the-art logistics complex in Poland

The Nagel-Group is consistently pushing ahead with its network expansion in Poland, thereby setting an important milestone in the expansion of its European infrastructure in the field of food logistics. An outstanding example of this is the new logistics and service center in Zabrze, which was successfully commissioned at the end of July 2025. The project was implemented in collaboration with real estate developer LemonTree and sends a clear signal for modern, sustainable logistics in the region.

The following video provides exclusive insights into the construction project and the modern architecture of the site. The state-of-the-art complex covers more than 30,000 m² and offers optimal conditions for efficient, temperature-controlled goods flows. A 9,500 m² warehouse with a cross-docking area enables fast handling processes and efficient goods flows.

Special attention was paid to sustainability in this construction project: a 2,500 kWp photovoltaic system covers a large part of the energy requirements, while energy-efficient cooling technology optimizes power consumption. In addition, charging stations for electric vehicles are available, further improving the site’s environmental balance.

The new logistics complex in Zabrze is part of a long-term growth plan: a new state-of-the-art logistics center with a total area of around 21,000 m² is also currently being built in Gdańsk. It includes areas for ambient, fresh, and ultra-fresh products, as well as a large transshipment warehouse and modern office space. Here, too, modern cooling systems and sustainable technologies are setting new standards and creating an efficient, future-oriented logistics center.

With these projects, the Nagel-Group is not only strengthening its logistics capabilities in Poland, but also demonstrating how modern infrastructure, technological innovation, and sustainable partnerships can be successfully combined.
