30 years of PCF Perishable-Center Frankfurt
Frankfurt am Main, 14 October 2025. PCF Perishable-Center GmbH & Co. KG celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. For three decades, the company has stood for quality, reliability and innovation in temperature-controlled air freight handling.
PCF was founded in 1995 by three shareholders: Nagel-Group Logistics SE (50%), Dettmer Group GmbH & Co. KG (40%) and Fraport AG (10%). This strong partnership continues to form the basis for continuity, flexibility and corporate responsibility to this day.

With over 9,000 square metres of temperature-controlled storage space and temperature zones ranging from -25 °C to +25 °C, PCF offers tailor-made logistics solutions for products in the fruit and vegetable, flower and plant, fish and meat, and pharmaceutical sectors. Using state-of-the-art technology, including vacuum and rapid coolers, real-time data transmission and fully automated thermal transporters, the company guarantees unbroken cold chains and short turnaround times. Every day, more than 120 employees ensure that fresh products from all over the world reach their destination safely, efficiently and on time. Many of them have been with the company for many years – a sign of a strong team culture and shared passion.

Festive anniversary evening in Dreieich
With its anniversary on 10 October 2025, PCF celebrated not only its history, but also the people who have shaped it: employees, partners and customers who have together created three decades of success, trust and passion for freshness.
To mark the anniversary, PCF hosted a grand anniversary celebration at the event location ‘The Aircraft’ in Dreieich. Guests enjoyed a festive evening with culinary highlights, live acts, musical entertainment and a multimedia review of 30 years of company history.

After the official welcome by the management and shareholders, partners and companions of the company were taken on a journey through three decades of air freight handling at Europe’s largest air freight hub. Afterwards, a varied evening programme provided space for personal conversations and an unforgettable end to the evening.
2025 is also a special year for the Nagel Group, PCF’s main shareholder, as the company celebrates its 90th anniversary. Both events are examples of continuity, responsibility and successful change in a constantly evolving industry.
