Lars-Erik Poths becomes new CEO of Nagel-Group
Versmold/Germany, 27 January 2026 – Nagel-Group, one of Europe’s leading food logistics companies, is setting the course for the future: Lars-Erik Poths will take over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on 1 February 2026. He succeeds Carsten Taucke in this function.

Lars-Erik Poths (41) joins Nagel-Group from international logistics service provider Logwin AG. At Logwin, he most recently served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), responsible for Finance as well as Sustainability and Quality Management in the Air + Ocean business segment. Prior to that he worked for the company as a Managing Director in Germany, while at the same time heading up global Air Freight Product Management. He holds a degree in Business Administration. “Nagel-Group is a great company with promising prospects for the future. I am very much looking forward to shaping a dynamic company development with continuous and sustainable growth in the coming years, together with the Administration Board, the management team, and motivated employees, as a reliable partner to our customers,” says the new CEO of Nagel-Group.
Lars-Erik Poths steers the fortunes of the family business together with the Administration Board and the other members of the Board of Directors, Jens Kleiner (Chief Operating Officer), Michael Lütjann (Chief Information Officer) and Dr. Holger Werthschulte (Chief Financial Officer). “Nagel-Group is a family business with clear values and high standards. Together with Lars-Erik Poths, we are continuing to work on consistently expanding our leading role as a supplier of all temperature classes,” emphasises the Chairwoman of the Administration Board.
Poths builds on a strong set-up. Since 2018, necessary structural adjustments have been implemented under Taucke, laying the foundation for further future investments. “We would like to thank Carsten Taucke for his successful work and his commitment to Nagel-Group, which is now well positioned for the future after several challenging years,” emphasises Marion Nagel. “With Lars-Erik Poths, we will shape the next phase of sustainable growth.”
