Nagel-Group takes over comprehensive logistics services for Eggers & Franke
Hamburg/Bremen, 15/05/2025. Nagel-Group has gained a major new customer: the Eggers & Franke Group, one of the leading German distribution companies for premium spirits, wines and sparkling wines. The cooperation will include full logistics support in the future – from storage and transport to individual value-added services.

Normann Brüggemann, General Manager Operations of Eggers & Franke Gruppe
Nagel-Group took over all warehouse activities on behalf of Eggers & Franke at the beginning of the year, integrating a total of around 45,000 pallet spaces at the Hammersbach logistics site. The next hugely significant milestone was reached on 1 May 2025 when Nagel-Group took over the entire transport operation.
“We have selected Nagel-Group as a strategic partner who understands our high quality standards and supports our growth ambitions with intelligent logistics solutions,” says Norman Brüggemann, General Manager Operations at the Eggers & Franke Group. “Centralising our activities in Hammersbach will be ideal for us to make our processes more efficient, scalable and customer-focused.”
The new partnership focuses on comprehensively optimising B2C processes, both by exploiting robotics technology for greater automation and through consistently streamlining processes. All processes will also be migrated to CAL-Suite, Nagel-Group’s own specially developed software ecosystem.

Carsten Taucke, CEO of Nagel-Group
“The cooperation with Eggers & Franke marks an important strategic step for us,” emphasises Carsten Taucke, CEO of Nagel-Group. “We not only offer a high-performance infrastructure, but also highly specialised value-added services, from managing vintages and quality assurance to repackaging in fine presentation cases. We strive to turn logistics into a growth driver for our customers.”
Nagel-Group will assume complete logistical responsibility for Eggers & Franke in the future under this cooperation. This also includes intelligently consolidating e-commerce orders, allowing shipments to be bundled and delivered more sustainably. Another key component is co-packing at the Hammersbach site: this is destined in future not only to be used for packaging and repackaging, but also for consolidation before the goods are dispatched to end customers – the perfect scenario for the discerning distribution of high-quality luxury goods such as these.
