Versmold,\u00a07 August 2026.\u00a0Whether in the warehouse, the office, in technical roles or behind the wheel\u00a0–\u00a0a total of 103 young people\u00a0are\u00a0embarking on their professional careers at the Nagel-Group. Through their apprenticeships, they will become part of a network that reliably supplies millions of people with food every day.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

With six apprenticeship\u00a0programmes\u00a0and two dual study\u00a0programmes, the Nagel-Group offers a wide range of entry-level opportunities in commercial,\u00a0industrial\u00a0and technical fields. The range of opportunities is constantly\u00a0evolving:\u00a0from 2026, young people with a passion for technology will be able to start an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician\u00a0specialising\u00a0in refrigeration technology\u00a0–\u00a0a profession offering responsibility, practical\u00a0experience\u00a0and genuine career prospects. This will\u00a0establish\u00a0an apprenticeship\u00a0programme\u00a0that plays\u00a0a central role\u00a0in temperature-controlled food\u00a0logistics. Precisely because refrigeration technology is demanding and requires in-depth practical knowledge, training our own skilled staff is a key strategy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The dual study\u00a0programme\u00a0in Business Administration and Logistics has also been restructured for the 2026 start. Under the Germany-wide block model, theoretical phases alternate quarterly with practical placements at various locations across Germany. Personal one-to-one mentoring by experienced managers and the opportunity to build a strong network help dual students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company and to develop their skills in a targeted manner.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore,\u00a0national\u00a0and international branch exchanges provide insights beyond the individual location. Modern, digitally\u00a0equipped\u00a0and flexible workspaces, alongside training, regular feedback and a wide range of development opportunities, create attractive conditions for starting a career.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur apprentices and dual-study students are actively shaping the future of the Nagel-Group. Particularly in the context of our\u00a0modernisation\u00a0programmes, it is important to us to empower them at an early stage to help shape change, take on responsibility and develop both professionally and personally.\u00a0In doing so, we are particularly keen to further strengthen apprenticeships and offer young people attractive career prospects in food logistics.\u00a0To this end, we are continuously developing our talent development\u00a0programmes,\u201d says Kim Miyanji, Head of Strategic HR at the Nagel-Group.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the start of their apprenticeship, the 103 new recruits at the Nagel-Group can look forward to a varied onboarding\u00a0programme. The focus is on getting to know the team at the site, interacting with one\u00a0another\u00a0and taking part in joint team-building activities. In addition, they receive\u00a0important information\u00a0about the company and the apprenticeship\u00a0programme, complete their\u00a0initial\u00a0training\u00a0sessions\u00a0and clarify mutual expectations. As part of a mentoring\u00a0programme, apprentices in more advanced years of their apprenticeship support the new recruits and are on hand to offer advice on an equal footing.\u00a0Throughout their apprenticeship, they are supported by qualified training staff and receive professional and personal development.\u00a0In the process, they not only learn about the diverse processes involved in system-critical food\u00a0logistics, but\u00a0also experience how the industry is changing. Through investments in\u00a0digitalisation, sustainable\u00a0logistics\u00a0concepts and modern structures, the Nagel-Group is setting the course for the future. As a result, tasks,\u00a0processes\u00a0and requirements are also evolving, and it is precisely for this that the skilled workers of tomorrow need to be prepared at an early stage.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
