The Nagel-Group honours long-service employees

The Nagel-Group’s shareholding family had invited all 175 long-service employees who have been working for the company for at least 25 years. Among the invitees were several employees who have remained loyal to the company for more than 30, 35 or even 40 years. As a show of gratitude and appreciation of their long-standing commitment, certificates and medals were handed over to them personally by Marion, Beatrice and Tobias Nagel on Thursday evening.

Marion Nagel opened the celebratory event and looked back on the results for 2019, among other things. “We are clearly operating at a profit! However, we have to maintain this development now,” said the Chairperson of the Administrative Board. “The Administrative Board and the Board of Directors will not shy away from taking all necessary steps to further the welfare of the Nagel-Group and to prevent damage from happening to the company. In summary: 2020 will be an exciting and crucial year of change.”

“Nothing is more important and matters more to us than the successful future of this company. We must be strategic in how we prepare for changing consumption habits, new production processes of our customers and significant technological leaps,” added shareholder Tobias Nagel, who emphasised the numerous changes in the past months in his speech. He also paid tribute to the achievements of the long-service employees: “Thank you for your loyalty to this company and thank you for your magnificent effort over the years. You can take pride in that!”

In total, 914 employees from the Nagel-Group were honoured last year for being part of the company for at least ten years. Employees with 10, 15, and 20 years’ service with the company had already received awards on their own sites over the course of the past year.
